Quando la barriera naturale della pelle è danneggiata compaiono arrossamenti, accompagnati da prurito e bruciore. Le cause possono essere molte, ma ci sono consigli validi in tutti i casi.

In assenza di adeguata protezione, la cute reagisce agli stimoli in modo esagerato. Per far fronte al problema è necessario indagarne le cause, che possono essere interne (fattori costituzionali, scompensi ormonali, allergie, carenze vitaminiche) o esterne (inquinamento, cosmetici inappropriati, caldo e freddo). Appurata l’ origine del disturbo, lo specialista sarà in grado di suggerire un trattamento specifico, ma esistono piccole strategie per iniziare a combattere questi problemi.

Charlotte Vohtz, il fondatore di Green People un beauty brand, crede nella bellezza interiore che si riversa all’esterno e nel suo libro “Naturalmente Splendida” prescrive la dieta perfetta per problemi di carnagione.
Ecco la ricetta:
• In alcuni casi degli alimenti o additivi alimentari possono provocare l’ irritazione cutanea. In questo caso bisogna fare un test allergologo per identificarne le cause;
• Bere almeno otto bicchieri di acqua al giorno per aiutare il corpo a disintossicarsi;
• Aumentare il consumo di omega-3 , sostanza ritrovabile nel pesce e nell’ olio di semi di lino;
• Evitare cibi troppo piccanti e alcool;
• Eliminare il così detto cibo spazzatura e gli additivi, come i coloranti alimentari, in quanto possono innescare un processo infiammatorio.

Migliaia di persone hanno la pelle delicata come un fiore ma purtroppo, molto spesso, non sanno come trattarla.

Se la cute è iperattiva, meno sostanze si applicano meglio è. Ma poiché anche la pelle sensibile ha bisogno di cure, è importante che riceva i trattamenti adeguati.
In linea di principio, tra i parametri di un cosmetico destinato a questo tipo di pelle ci sono la tollerabilità, la dermo compatibilità degli ingredienti, l’ assenza di profumo, di alcol e di coloranti.

La detersione deve essere frequente ma delicata, per non danneggiare ulteriormente la naturale barriera difensiva della pelle. Per la pulizia quotidiana del viso è bene utilizzare prodotti poco schiumosi, con un pH debolmente acido o fisiologico e con l’aggiunta di sostanze emollienti in grado di contrastare l’azione sgrassante dei tensioattivi. Dopo la detersione, vaporizzare sulla cute un po’ di acqua termale o picchiettare con un dischetto di cotone imbevuto di acqua di rose.Le maschere sono il complemento di una detersione accurata e di qualsiasi trattamento di bellezza. Devono essere per pelle sensibile, altrimenti la cute si irrita.

Le creme da giorno non devono essere troppo grasse.Nei prodotti da giorno devono poi essere sempre presenti dei filtri solari. La protezione deve essere contro gli ultravioletti di tipo A e B e contro gli infrarossi.
La notte è il momento per i trattamenti anti-età indispensabili per la pelle sensibile, che tende ad invecchiare più velocemente. La crema da utilizzare deve essere ricca di vegetali ad azione ammorbidente e di antiossidanti (come la vitamina C). Tra le sostanze che trattengono l’acqua cutanea ci sono l’acido ialuronico, l’urea e il collagene.

Per proteggere la pelle sensibile è importante anche seguire un’ alimentazione corretta e bilanciata, inserendo nella dieta cibi ricchi di vitamina C (di cui sono ottime fonti agrumi, kiwi, fragole) e P (more, ciliege, mirtilli, albicocche, uva e prugne) che proteggono i capillari. Infine, è utile limitare il consumo di caffè, di alcolici, di cibi piccanti o particolarmente spezieti.
